The Weiwood Advantage

Behind the Name
Our name, Weiwood, comes from the combination of two Taoist concepts. The first, “Wu Wei”, describes effortless action, aligned with the cycles of the natural world and characterized by a state of ease and of being totally awake. The second, “Pu”, or the un-carved block, refers to a state of pure potential.
Our’s is a a mindful approach to business management –one that seeks to adapt and build business processes that enable a more natural path to success, and which recognize the value that already exists in an organization or, what we call:

From our founder
A year or so after the pandemic, I was working with an emerging organization – lean and ready to disrupt an industry that needed to be disrupted. Because we weren’t quite ready to add multiple domain specialists, I went to the internet to try and find temporary consulting support for a simple materials RFP. Instead of expertise, I was served up about 25 sites that wanted to sell me purchasing software. Social media outreach did no better. That’s when I decided it was time to get the team together and spin up a solution – a place where emerging organizations can go for help on how to do the things that aren’t necessarily part of their secret sauce, but which are important components of any successful recipe. The boring stuff, like purchasing, and site selection.
…And here we are.
